Complete refurbishment and remodel for Haydens

Hayden's - case study - IFP Construction

Project overview

To deliver a complete remodelling and refurbishment of an existing bakery area to create space for a new state of the art production line for new sweet pastry products including ‘yum yums’, along with similar indulgent variations.  The additional investment was used to create a new extension for product packaging and a high care environment with utility upgrades.

Challenge

This was an extremely demanding programme. Driven by a new supply contract for one of the UK’s leading retailers resulted in a very challenging delivery programme to ensure the product was on supermarket shelves in record breaking time.

IFPC skilfully negotiated the usual statutory approval procedures, with a design programme which delivered information for construction to progress at an extremely fast pace; the quick delivery made possible by the collaborative engagement of the Haydens team on site, coupled with our management contracting approach.

IFPC role Design & construction delivery

The IFPC team delivered a fantastic project for us. It was a complex scheme with a very tight programme and their approach enabled us to deliver the project on time and successfully launch our new product portfolio. Their integration with our site team was essential to the success of the project, as it minimised the impact on operations.“
